Lori Jones Gibbs is the Vice President, Community Development Carolinas Market Manager for PNC. In this capacity, she leads a team of people who focus on how PNC can partner with organizations to initiate and/or expand existing community and economic development activities.

Jones Gibbs currently serves on the following boards: Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. National Program Planning and Development Committee and serves as Chair of Economic Development Committee, North Carolina Institute for Minority Economic Development, UNC- Board of Governors’ North Carolina School of Science and Mathematics, Passage Homes – Raleigh, and the First Calvary Baptist Church Financial Education Ministry.

Jones Gibbs is the author of the book Yes, I Would Marry Him Again, Wives Salute Their African American Husbands and co-author of YES, You’re Approved! The Real Deal About Getting a Mortgage and Buying A Home.

Jones Gibbs was the first African American Woman to receive the Mortgage Bankers of America Diversity Champion Award. She has also received the Heart and Soul’s Women of Substance in Finance Award, Mahogany Dime Award as One of North Carolina’s Most Influential African American Women, Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. South Atlantic and Eastern Regional Director Leadership Award, Bennett College, Women Corporate Award and 100 Black Men Spirit of Excellence Award.

A graduate of the University of Connecticut, Jones Gibbs holds a Masters degree from the University of Bridgeport. Gibbs is married to Kenneth Gibbs and they are the proud parents of three adult children.
