The Hispanic Family Center's Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) site is located at 2013 North Raleigh Blvd, Raleigh, NC, 27604 (close to the I-440 Yonkers Rd exit). This year, we will offer in-person tax preparation ONLY.
1) Schedule an Appointment:
The site will be open on Saturdays from February 3, 2024, through April 13, 2024. Appointments are strongly encouraged and available between 9 AM and 1 PM. Click HERE to schedule your appointment online or call (919) 286-1822 for assistance. When calling, ask for an appointment at Raleigh’s Hispanic Family Center site.
Tax preparation appointments will take approximately one hour, but vary depending on various factors. Please be flexible and plan accordingly. Most tax returns can be completed during the appointment.
NOTE: Everyone on site will be required to wear a mask this year for your safety and the safety of our volunteers.
2) Review the Tax Prep Checklist
Please bring your Social Security cards / ITIN letters (for all individuals on the tax return) and photo IDs for the taxpayer (and spouse if filing Married Filing Jointly). It is helpful if you bring your previous year’s completed tax return. 3) Complete the Intake Form
Click HERE to download and complete the required intake form. Please bring the completed form to your appointment. If you cannot print the form, you may pick it up from the site and complete it before the start of your appointment.
