Vannessa Mason Evans

Hi my name is Vannessa Mason Evans. I'm a community advocate working toward equitable living for black, brown, and indigenous communities. I have a true concern that there has to be affordable housing for lower income families. Communities should be rich in culture and history, not displace by gentrification and redlining. It is important that black, brown, and indigenous communities stay intact to carry on their rich heritage. There must be equity so that people of color can live better secure lives. You can't forget your past to understand and know your future.
