Salesforce Administrator / IT Project Manager

Reinvestment Partners is seeking an IT Project Manager and Salesforce Administrator.


Reinvestment Partners is a nonprofit agency based in Durham, North Carolina, with a mission to foster
healthy and just communities by empowering people, improving places, and influencing policy. We are a

social injustice in the areas of food, housing, community development, health, and financial services.


The IT Project Manager & Salesforce Administrator will play a dual role in overseeing and customizing
our Salesforce Platform while also contributing to overall organization-wide technology planning.
Strategic thinking and technical business acumen are essential in this role, which requires bringing
current knowledge and future vision of technology and systems to business processes, products and
services for our nonprofit. Ultimately, you will work with our nonprofit team to ensure our organization
utilizes various tools and capabilities offered by Salesforce and other technology effectively and
efficiently.
Salary range: $65,000 - $80,000

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
----------------------------------------------------------

IT Project Management Responsibilities

  •  Align the nonprofit’s technology resources with the organization’s short- and long-term goals
  •  Provide strategic guidance on technology investments, architecture, and infrastructure to drive innovation and business growth
  • Oversee the design, development, and maintenance of our IT products and services, ensuring scalability, performance, and information security in compliance with HIPAA and other regulatory requirements
  • Collaborate closely with the executive team, product managers, and other stakeholders to align technology initiatives with organization objectives
  • Oversee and supervise third-party managed service provider
  •  Build quality assurance and data protection processes
  •  Conduct research to remain up-to-date and knowledgeable in regards to industry trends and emerging technologies in anticipation of new business processes and system alterations
  • Develop and implement business continuity protocols to minimize disruption to business operations in the event of emergency situations or data loss
  •  Develop and maintain relationships with external IT vendors and service providers
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

Salesforce Administrator Responsibilities

  •  Oversee and assist in the day-to-day configuration, support, maintenance, and improvement of our CRM platform.
  •  Serve as primary system administrator for the Salesforce environment
  • Manage and own relationships with cross-functional teams and vendors to develop product strategy and drive desired outcomes
  • Support all administrative functions including user account maintenance, reports and dashboards, workflows, approval processes, and other routine tasks
  •  Complete regular internal system audits and prepares for upgrades
  • Manage data feeds and other integrations
  •  Coordinate the evaluation, scope, and completion of new development requests
  • Assist in training new users, and grow the Salesforce skill set across the organization
  •  Make recommendations and design solutions that improve user experience, expand platform utilization, and align with the overall organization strategy
  • Proactively identify new opportunities to support additional business processes or functions
  •  Research changes in upcoming versions of Salesforce in order to provide recommendations that enhance productivity
  •  Create and maintain reporting that meets management requirements and efficiently conveys key performance indicators in multiple areas of the company
  • Create and maintain documentation for users, processes, approval processes, and workflow
  •  Document system requirements, including validation rules, process builder, automation, record types, encryption, workflow, approval processes, and triggers
  •  Identify the appropriate third-party products/applications and determine when it is appropriate to include external application developers to meet business requirements and timelines
  • Work with third-party vendors and Salesforce premier support to resolve issues
  •  Remain current on Salesforce best practices, technologies, and certifications

KNOWLEDGE, ABILITIES, AND SKILLS
----------------------------------------------------------

  •  2-4 years experience in the administration and maintenance of Salesforce systems
  •  Experience in performing Salesforce upgrades and ensuring successful integration
  • Familiarity with the creation and configuration of Salesforce and/or Tableau dashboards and reporting
  • A track record of working successfully as a member of a team and taking initiative to own individual projects
  •  Advanced excel skills and excellent written and verbal communication
  • Passion for social justice work and a strong desire to make a positive impact in the field
  •  A bachelor’s degree in computer science is preferred

    SALARY

    Salary range is $65,000 - $80,000 annually and benefits include health, dental, vision, and retirement benefits.
